Rebranding, logo, mobile app

AREA

YEAR

DESCRIPTION

Made for athletes, coaches and powerlifting federations, Power Scout is a data analysis and gestion app. On this project, the client wanted to rework on its branding and its app interface in anticipation of adding new features to it.

A new image...

... and new features

The client wanted to implement a dark mode and add new tabs to analyse the athletes' statistics and see the new records in each federation.

The first step of this phase involved surveying a sample of users from the most representative user group of Power Scout (intermediate/advanced athletes, both male and female, aged 18 to 35) to ask them about their experience with the app and any potential improvements they would like to see.

Based on the data collected and an initial audit, we identified key areas for improvement, which allowed us to develop an enhanced and more intuitive version of Power Scout.

Point 1 : An abundance of data making it difficult to read

Point 2 : A cold and austere interface that needs to be modernized

Point 3 : A lack of the competitive spirit associated with this sport

User journey

One of the client's objectives for this project was to optimize their conversion rate by improving all aspects that could encourage users to opt for the premium version of the app.

Wireframe

Using the insights previously gathered and keeping the client's desire to maintain the spirit of the old interface, we designed the wireframes to lay the visual foundations for the new look of the Power Scout app.

Design

We made an initial approach to the Power Scout interface design by creating new tabs based on the client's guidelines and the user feedback collected. These foundations served as the basis for designing the rest of the app. The client emphasized that the interface would benefit from better-organized and more readable data.

After designing the entire application interface based on the users' needs and expectations, we tested the prototype with a representative sample. Users appreciated the new interface design, which met their expectations and added a fun, competitive aspect. They also provided layout suggestions to further optimize their experience.
